St. Nicholas’ days
fairs, plays, concerts...
On 6, 9-10th December St. Nicholas’ days took place in the Old Town.
On Wednesday December 6th from the very morning children from the Głogów schools and kindergartens were bringing decorations prepared beforehand for the town Christmas tree.
At 5 pm a Great Arrival of Santa Claus in Głogów took place, who brought sweet treats for the gathered.
On 9th and 10th December there was a St. Nicholas’ fair, where it was possible to buy various products from the local manufacturers and tradesmen.
Every day for many hours the fair, concerts, plays and games gathered together thousands of Głogów’s dwellers. Over 1000 people participated in the evening concerts.

9th December (Saturday)
12.00 – 8 pm – St. Nicholas’s Fair
2 pm – Competition to choose a Głogów St. Nicholas’ product
3 pm – Colourful madness in the middle of the winter (fun for the young and the old)
4.pm – Magical concert by Vocal Group (Studium Wokalne)
4.30 pm – Great St. Nicholas’ layer cake prepared by Meryk’s confectionery
7 pm – Graffitti for Christmas
6 pm – Space skateboard – children’s show by Krystyna Giżowska and Jerzy Różycki
10th December (Sunday)
12.00 – 8 pm – St. Nicholas’s Fair
3 pm – Preparation of mulled wine in a Głogów’s style by Pinokio Restaurant
3.45 pm – Colourful madness in the middle of the winter (fun for the young and the old)
4.15 pm – St. Nicholas’ Gospel
4.45 pm – Christmas concert by Kakofonia Boys band
6.00 pm – Evening with Bayer Full band
