It is one of the earliest developed parks in Głogów. It is located centrally in relation to Głogów offices, institutions and housing estates. In a part of the park from the side of ul. The Monument to the Anti-Nazi Coalition is located at the Monument to the Workers' Unity, under which anniversary events are held. Many species of trees and shrubs grow in the park. The surfaces of the alleys are in good condition - the main alley leading through the park (from Aleja Wolności to ul. It is a specific park. Avenues and fragments of roads with horizontal and vertical signs have been created here - it is used by young inhabitants of Głogów to learn how to move on roads and public streets. In the traffic town there are installed elements of small architecture (benches, garbage bins).

It is located between two large housing estates, which is why there is quite a lot of pedestrian traffic. The park has been modernized - the surfaces of alleys have been rebuilt, flower beds have been placed, benches and waste bins have been replaced, and a large playground has been created. There are ponds in the park, and 5 bridges - one bridge - of decorative character were built over the pond in the southern part of the park.

The moat was built in the 17th century, during the Thirty Years' War, when it was decided to create a fortress from Glogow. At that time, a bastion system was applied, consisting of 11 bastions, a moat and earth embankments. The dry moat section with two bastions "Sebastian" and "Leopold" has survived to our times. It is possible to enter the interior in two ways: from ul. Szkolna and from ul. Rzeźnicza (by the marketplace). Today the moat has a recreational and walking character. After the fortification was dismantled at the beginning of the 20th century, an existing fragment of the moat was left and a rosemary of about 2,000 rose bushes was set up there. Głogów Fortress has been rebuilt and modernized many times. From time to time it was enriched with further works of fotyfication, hence in the moat itself there are casemates, counter-mine tunnels, posterns and at the outlet of the moat at ul. Szkolna Street - the preserved section of the underground barracks block
